janis j. on Birdeye a year agoclean choice energy are targeting the elderly. read the posted reviews, many start the same way. my mother, my father, my aunt. in my building there are 28 units but only two of use receive n on-stop email, snail mail and phone calls. they call all the time, they wake me up in the morning, they wake me up at night and they call during church on sunday. yesterday i fell taking their junk mail from my mailbox to the recycle bins. i have submitted complaint after complaint. cleanchoice targets senior citizens. in my possess. read more

Montgomery S. on Birdeye a year agoTheir info for their community solar program is unclear and leads to confusion regarding how their billing works. Then as soon as there is a problem they wack you with a $200 termination fee. I followed their instructions for reinstating my account to the letter and they terminated it anyway. Not a customer friendly company.
Ron B. on Birdeye a year agoHUGE scam! They trick you with a competitive rate (currently $.176 per Kht (the current rate with Pepco is $0.086, around 1/2). Once your first 12 months are up, the rate jumps with no notice. Our rate jumped to $.386, almost double and 4 1/2 times what Pepco charges. Our electric bill went from $350 to nearly $1,500. RUN AWAY.
Jason E. on Birdeye a year agoWarning!! It is a scam.They charged my mother's apartment (630 sq ft), for 200 dollars of supplies service. More cost for billing monthly. Which doesn't save your economic. I believe climate government isn't honest, want our money.
Cambria D. on Birdeye a year agoBE AWARE: THIS COMPANY IS ACTIVELY TRYING TO SCAM MY 87 YEAR OLD MOTHER BY FRAUDENTLY FAKING HER SIGNATURE!! I posted a lengthy "review" on here earlier but it has not appeared yet. I'm so furious that this is happening to my mother. We will undoubtedly have to hire an attorney which will cost my mother who'se on a fixed income a lot of money. Whoever tried to forge my mother's signature needs to do better. They didn't even spell her name correctly!! PLEASE STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY.

Unfortunately, my 87 y/o mother handed me a packet of bills & a "contract" that she received in the mail yesterday from Clean Choice. This fraudulent contract is dated 5/15/21 but this is the FIRST time receiving any written materials from them. There were 3 bills included: 9/22 - $177.10; 10/22 - $358.50 & 12/22 - $509.06. I called this company yesterday to ask what this was about. The representative said my mother signed a contract with them. SHE NEVER SIGNED THIS CONTRACT. . read more
